According to some researchers, the first Monday after New Year’s Day, known as Blue Monday, is the most miserable, depressing day of the year – which just happened to be yesterday. The Christmas holidays are over, we have already started breaking our New Year’s resolutions, the weather is frightful, and so on, and so on. Well thank goodness Blue Monday is now just a memory.
And although Christmas, which most Americans identify as their favorite holiday, is still 358 days away – there are many holidays to cheer us up in between. In fact, many Duffey employees rate the 4th of July as their favorite holiday – and the majority rate it as their second favorite holiday after Christmas.
So now we can add some red and white to that blue, start practicing “The Star Spangled Banner” in anticipation of summer, fireworks, barbeque and freedom.
