ATLANTA (Feb. 9, 2012) – Duffey Communications Inc. has promoted Paul Fulton Jr. to Vice President of the agency.

“Paul is astounding in his ability to integrate emerging and traditional communications channels, exceeding our client expectations. His leadership has been integral in achieving Duffey’s 11-year client retention rate,” says Duffey President and CEO Sherri Fallin.

Fulton first joined the agency in 2001 as an intern and, since then, has held increasing roles of responsibility, most recently serving as Vice President, Public Relations.

“We can activate more channels than ever to influence business, consumer, advocacy and other audiences,” Fulton says. “And while digital and social media have dramatically changed our roles as communicators, that shift doesn’t mean traditional strategies should be set aside as obsolete. Instead, we have an opportunity to unite audiences through compelling stories that are told in a variety of formats – from written to video to photography. I look forward to furthering these practices in my new role at Duffey.”

Fulton’s experience bridges consumer, business and cause marketing. He has earned numerous awards for brand and reputation management; consumer and business media relations; advertising; writing; and collateral.

Fulton is the former communications manager for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and served in a marketing and internal communication capacity at Community Newspapers Inc. in Athens, Ga. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Today, he serves on the Marketing and Public Relations Committee for Actor’s Express Theatre and supports numerous community-based causes.
